Day 1: Arrival - Montego Bay  Depart from Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI) via Non Stop to Montego Bay. Upon arrival in Montego Bay Jamaica, you will be met in the at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day will be at your leisure. Youth Symposium Regerstration and enjoy a “Welcome” dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Maroon Village Tour - During our study tour you will take a guided walk through Accompong Town, the historic Maroon village, and take time to observe the educational program of school children in action.  

Day 5: British / Maroon Peace Treaty Festival.- We will celebrate with the descendants of Cudjoe and Granny Nanny, the legendary  leaders of the African Resistance Movement of the 1700’s , their ancestral victory over the British army. 

To eliminate constant tipping by individual tour members after each meal and bus tour, etc., we have included tips into your final invoice to avoid confusion over when and how much to tip. Your final bill is due October 31, 2010. Itineraries are subject to variance contingent upon local holidays and weather. All sites will be visited but not necessarily in the order shown.

Requirements for Travel: ALL American Citizens traveling abroad must have a valid passport. Apply at your nearest passport office or clerk of superior court immediately at least 60 days prior to departure. 

Air Transportation: Fly on an economy class jet on a direct flight on Air Jamaica. Current air fair is based on September 2010 Rates and are subject to change.

Hotel Accommodations: A limited number of single rooms available at the supplemental coast. Rates are specified on booking form and based on double occupancy. Conformation required 30 days before departure.

Meals: THREE MEALS PER DAY Full breakfast, lunch and dinner provided daily in the hotel. For the Accompong Maroon Town tour lunch boxes will be provided. 

Sightseeing: As detailed in the itinerary, using comfortable and convenient transportation. All entrance fees are included when applicable.

Tips: Tips associated with porters at the hotel, meal gratuities, guides and drivers rendering services are included in your total fare.

Taxes: Service charges as imposed by lodging facilities, taxes by local administrations and government authorities on lodging rate included on all services rendered to the group. Airport taxes and fuel surcharges are subject to change without prior notice. You will be billed for these amounts in your final notice if they have been changed.
